Good location, several OK restaurants nearby. Beware of the junk food outlets. Walking is feasible in Magelang! Little side streets are peaceful. Not that there is much to see or do here, but two jumbo volcanoes loom nearby and can be visited. Rooms are clean but on the bleak side. Bathroom basic. Efficient new AC. Slept well. McDonald's close but Coffeeville down the road is much nicer.

the place was an ex small hospital then converted to RedDoorz chain, the room was big and decent, they provided hot water with coffee or tea, and nearby there's a McDonald and also very near to the center of Magelang
